Delivery Details


When you place an order on the SmartGro web-based application, you will be provided the opportunity to select a delivery window during which you will receive your order. By placing an Order, you acknowledge and agree that SmartGro must, and will, share your delivery information (name, location/address, special delivery instructions, phone number, and requested delivery time) and order information to the Shopper

In general, grocery items are available for delivery the next day. This means if you place your order today, you’ll receive your order the next day.

Shoppers will deliver your order to the door of your delivery location only (meaning the outside door of your residence), and are not authorized or required to bring your order inside or unpack the order. Upon your delivery, you will receive by email a delivery note showing the product price details, the delivery fees showing a summary of the items delivered. For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification. Any person other than yourself who receives the products at the delivery address is presumed to be authorized to accept delivery on your behalf.

Should no-one be in attendance at the time of delivery, the driver will keep the products and leave a notice. The driver will try to contact you to make new arrangements for delivery or collection. We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee should it be required. Our liability for any delay in delivery is limited to re-delivery at a later agreed time at no additional charge.

We, in our sole discretion, set and adjust the minimum (or maximum) quantity and/or price requirements from time to time for any order or attempted order placed on the SmartGro site.
